The news came via an official Twitter post, which was accompanied by the numbers "666" and the following caption: "The devil made us do it. #Lucifer will return for a sixth and final season. Like, FINAL final."
So, what’s in store for the Prince of Lies and his earthbound friends? Let’s dive in. After all, the devil’s in the detail…
Lucifer season 6 release date: When will it air?
Lucifer season 6 is set to be the final season of the beloved series which came to Netflix from Fox. The sixth season has now concluded filming meaning that we’re close to the end. Lucifer season 6 release date
Filming may be completed, but now the crew behind the scenes need to work their magic! This means editing has begun, and you can’t rush good work. If season 5 drops in late May 2021, Lucifer season 6 could premiere anywhere from six months after May 28, so Nov. 2021, or a year after, so May 2022.
We’re leaning towards the latter since there are typically 12 months between seasons. When do you think the final set of episodes will premiere?
